About the Inanimate Animals Gallery...

Having always been a lover of animals (and also having remained a reasonably frustrated wildlife photographer!) I too often found that by the time I was able to set up what, for the bulk of my career, had been a deliberately slow-working view camera – any wild animals that I might have been attempting to photograph would, long since, have summarily departed the scene! So, I decided it might prove a more successful approach for me to simply photograph only those animals that would have little opportunity to do anything other than to hold still while I took their picture! Thus, this series showcases photographs of a variety of stuffed, painted, sculpted, and/or otherwise physically inanimate animals.
